Hot Tubs are usually associated with champagne, parties and a lavish lifestyle.
Some may be surprised to hear that Garforth and surrounding areas within the LS25 postcode has been named the ‘Hot Tub Capital’ of Leeds & West Yorkshire. This is based on our latest research from customers in Leeds and surrounding areas over the past 13 years.
It was in the LS25 postcode where the most sales were recorded during this period – by a considerable margin.
In total 12.7% of overall hot tub sales were snapped up by home owners in Garforth, Sherburn in Elmet, South Milford and other LS25 postcodes.
This high amount of overall sales left Collingham, Linton and Wetherby back in third place, with 7.80% of the overall number of hot tub sales; a mere 3 sales behind second place Moortown, Harewood, Moor Allerton and the rest of the LS17 postcode district, who contributed to 8.67% of all sales.
Leeds Hot Tub Sales Chart
We were initially surprised by the results, but not by the increasing number of sales we're experiencing. We've sold a lot of hot tubs in areas such as Garforth and South Milford, but to have sold such a high percentage in the LS25 postcode did come as a bit of a surprise.
We always seem to do quite well with our sales in the villages, possibly because there are some bigger houses with more room for a hot tub, but we do have customers across all areas of Leeds and West Yorkshire.
When it comes to the number of hot tub sales by area, we're not really bothered where our customers are based, as long as they continue to be happy with our products and the service we provide.

The rise in hot tub sales could be partly attributed to the fact that people in our region are “very house proud” and our customers are usually looking for a way to make their home as luxurious as possible - adding a hot tub is the perfect way to improve your lifestyle and home by adding a little bit of extra luxury.
Because housing is still very affordable in the region, in our experience it means people do sometimes have a bit more disposable income to spend on little luxuries. We’ve certainly seen that in recent years because our business is doing well - long may it continue.
Hot Tub Hydrotherapy Leading to Increased Sales
In recent years we've noticed the number of hot tub sales increase as home owners are looking to reap the health benefits of hot tub hydrotherapy. Did you know that using a hot tub or Jacuzzi on a regular basis can help improve your state of mind and body? The average modern life is full of daily stress and many people want to improve their quality of life through taking time to look after themselves.
As far back as the Greeks and Middle Ages right up to today, water has always been used for relief or for the cure of illnesses, skin diseases and things like liver disorders.
Hot tubs use Hydrotherapy which involves the use of water for soothing an aching body or speeding the recovery of other muscular ailments. It combines water with air and heat to promote wellbeing. At the end of a long day, knowing you can go home and relax in your own hot tub as the jets gently massage your tension away is a great feeling.
