Outdoor Living are proud to announce they have won Hot Tub Retailer of the year at the UK Pool and Spa Awards.
The team were ecstatic at being rewarded with such an incredible achievement and proud that all their hard work is recognised.
The award was given as a result of Outdoor Livings continual positive customer feedback, high quality service standards from sale to install and on to aftercare, range of products at competitive prices and for their contribution to the development of the hot tub industry. Hot Tub Retailer of the Year is the most prestigious award at the event and one of the most difficult to achieve, due to the number of contributing factors.
The UK Pool and Spa awards is an annual event held to honour those offering the best pool and spa design, supply and build in the leisure industry.
This year’s event was held at The Vox, NEC in Birmingham on the 12th of December and was attended by over 200 people from key positions across the pool and spa industry. With over 80 companies entered for over 30 awards Outdoor Living were honoured to have been shortlisted for 3 of the 30 possible awards available.
Each of the thirty categories were awarded either a gold, silver or bronze standard, decided by over 2,000 online votes as well as votes from judges, before being scrutinised by an independent jury.
To present the awards was the incredible VIP guest, Sharron Davies. Twice voted British Press Sportswoman of the Year thanks to her incredible career covering three decades and her achievements also include numerous major sporting titles and medals, 200 British records and an MBE awarded for services to sport. Outdoor Living was humbled to accept three awards from such an iconic sporting figure!
The team brought home the Gold Award for Showroom of the year for the Hull showroom. Having won the Gold Award for the Leeds Showroom in 2015, it was an honour to see our Hull Showroom now getting the recognition it deserves. The key location off Clive Sullivan Way has over 60,000 cars a day driving past ‘Bubbles’ our big yellow duck, which has now become an iconic figure for the city. The showroom boasts 3 gazebos, 15 hot tubs, a running swim spa as well as changing rooms with full wet test facilities to ‘try before you buy’.
Our work with the BBC DIY SOS the Big Build awarded Outdoor Living the Outstanding Spa Marketing Initiative. After hearing about the struggles of a father from Hessle, we were able to contribute to the DIY SOS the Big Build project, donating a hot tub for the family. We had the privilege of working with the DIY SOS team to discuss the best product to suit the family’s needs. You can read more about this in our blog article here.
